“Several times, organic mass washed up onto shore known as “globsters” have been thought to be a sea serpent or a plesiosaur by non-scientists.
Upon further studies they have been often suggested to be the remains of a Basking Shark, due to its typical length being around 7.9m (26ft) - the second largest living shark and fish.”
