“The Dumbo Octopus is named after its resemblance to the titular character from the 1941 Disney film “Dumbo” - as it has two noticeable ear-shaped fins extending above the mantle of each eye.
They are the deepest living octopuses known with individuals found in the hadal zone which reaches 11,000 metres to the very bottom of the ocean.”
