“The Common Potoo is a nocturnal insectivore, sweeping up moths and beetles in its wide mouth as it flies.
During the day it roosts in trees and its eyelids have several folds which create slits and serve as peek holes, allowing the potoo to keep an eye out for potential threats without moving or opening its huge yellow eyes.”
