“The Bat-Eared Fox gets its name from its huge ears which play an important role of thermoregulation, helping to cool down its body temperature as blood flows through the ears, removing excess heat.
They also help when locating prey and this fox is considered to be the only truly insectivorous canid with most of its diet consisting of termites.”
