“The Celebes Crested Macaque is mainly found in a protected reserve on Sulawesi in Indonesia, but as it devastates crops and fields it is often hunted as a pest in areas with larger human populations.
They are very social animals, living in groups and communicating with each other using a variety of calls and facial expressions.”
