“The Indri has a fascinating behaviour known as 'sun-worshipping'.
When the sun rises in the morning, they tend to sit and watch from a tree branch with 'legs crossed, back straight, hands low, palms facing out/resting on knees and eyes half-closed'.
Despite this, biologists and zoologists do not anthropomorphise as much as possible - and are reluctant to label this behaviour as such, although the Malagasy people do have a belief of Indri being sun-worshippers.”
