“The Jesus Christ Lizard gets its name from its ability to walk on water.
Their large hind legs and elongated toes create a large surface area on the water, forming pockets of air beneath the surface.
When combined with rapid foot movements, the surface tension of the water is reduced, allowing the lizard to stay afloat.”
